Hilde Kate Lysiak, the 9-year-old reporter, editor and publisher of the Orange Street News, may have gotten famous for scooping the grown-up media on a homicide in her home town of Selinsgrove, Pa. But the story she was truly passionate about was the torrent of vandalism occurring around the town, particularly the trashing of various plants and trees.
